Dr. Fifer is the Director of Operations of the Center for Clinical Research at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIU Medicine). In that role, Amber oversees the operations of clinical research teams across departments at SIU Medicine. Prior to her work at SIU Medicine, Amber worked as a clinical and investigational pharmacist in several other healthcare organizations. Amber is a licensed pharmacist and a certified research professional through ACRP.
